# Can I use remote desktop with NordLayer?

If you are connected to NordLayer, you will be able to connect to any other computer via the RDP service, but no one will be able to reach your device via remote desktop.

Having said that, [Cloud LAN feature](/docs/how-to-set-up-smart-remote-access-feature) allows you to create a local network between all the devices connected to the same NordLayer private gateway, which enables you to use RDP more easily.
