# Disable the username/password login option

If you wish to disable the username/password option, you can do so from the NordLayer Control Panel. Simply head to our website, log in and open **Settings** - [Login methods](https://cp.nordlayer.com/settings/login-methods/). You will then see two options - you can disable login with username/password for the **NordLayer application** and/or **Control Panel** itself.

Please note that you must have at least one alternative login method in order to disable a username/password login option.
