You can access the logs even if you are not logged into the application:
- Right-click on the NordLayer icon in the status bar
- Then, select Activity Log from the menu.
In case you are unable to perform those steps, connection logs can also be accessed manually.
Regardless of whether you downloaded NordLayer from the App Store or side-loaded it from our website, the logs for the current version can be found at the following unified path:
~/Library/Containers/NordLayer/Data/Library/Logs/NordLayer/
Handling upcoming changes in log paths
For users on NordLayer version 3.3.3 and above, the log storage path will change. The new path will be:
~/Library/Group\ Containers/W5W395V82Y.group.com.nordlayer/Library/Caches/Logs/
If your NordLayer version is below 3.3.3, please refer to the old path as specified above for the current versions.
