# How to retrieve NordLayer app logs on Android

First, ensure that the app is open on your Android device and you are either at the Welcome Screen, Select Authentication method screen or Set up 2FA screen, then simply shake your device, and you will receive a prompt to share the diagnostic files.

Alternatively, you can head to **Settings** and choose '**Share Diagnostics**'.
