# Information linked to my account

NordLayer keeps some of the information required for the functionality of the service:

- **User's** **email** **address** - to send the latest NordLayer news, retrieve your password, for authentication when logging in to the NordLayer control panel and application
- **Payment information** - we store reference ID

**Note**: All this information can be deleted upon account removal. If you wish to do so, you should contact [24/7 customer support team](/docs/how-do-i-contact-nordlayer-customer-support).
