# Network sharing in Windows

To share a NordLayer connection from Windows via WiFi, please follow these steps:

- Enable the hotspot (navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Hotspot)
- Open Change adapter options
- Right-click on the NordLayer Adapter and select Properties
- Possible adapter names are NordLayer Connection, TAP-NordLayer, Windows Adapter V9
- Open the Sharing tab and enable Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection
- Click Ok if prompted
- Under the Home networking connection, select your virtual WiFi adapter (it can be identified by the name Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter)
- Click OK
- The NordLayer connection sharing is now ready
