This page lists the versions that will soon stop being supported on each platform, so you can manage your updates before you lose access. ## What the version statuses mean | Status | What it means for you | | --- | --- | | **Supported** | The app works normally. You don't need to do anything. | | **Soon will not be supported** | The app still works, but you'll see an in-app message asking you to update. Update soon so you don't lose access. | | **Not supported** | You'll only see a message asking you to update, and you can't connect until you install a newer version. | ## How versions are retired We review app versions every quarter. In general: - Versions released **in the last 3 months** are supported. - Versions **3 to 6 months** old are marked as **soon will not be supported**. - Versions **more than 6 months** old are marked **not supported**. A version may be retired earlier if it has a security vulnerability or a critical bug. When that happens, a fixed version is always released first. ## Versions that will soon stop being supported | Platform | Versions | What to do | | --- | --- | --- | | **Windows** | 3.8.1; 3.8.0 | Update to the latest version | | **Android** | 4.16.1; 4.16.0 | Update to the latest version | | **macOS** | None right now | Keep your app up to date | | **Linux** | None right now | Keep your app up to date | | **iOS** | None right now | Keep your app up to date | If you're using a version older than the ones listed for your platform, it's probably no longer supported and you'll need to update to keep using NordLayer. Note Turn on automatic updates (or let your IT admin manage them) so you're always on a supported version. --- **Note**: In case you have any questions or issues, press '**Chat with support**' at the bottom of the page.
