# Why wasn't my recurring payment charged?

Your recurring payment may not have gone through because of the following reasons:

* The auto-renewal option is not turned on
* NordLayer payment processor has encountered issues
* There are issues with your payment method (insufficient funds, payment method has expired etc.)
