How to force sync between NordLayer and Microsoft Entra ID SCIM?

To sync members from Microsoft Entra ID to NordLayer, you can use SCIM for automatic provisioning. If there's a delay, you can manually force an immediate sync using Microsoft Entra ID's on-demand provisioning feature. This guide explains how to do it.

Steps for on-demand provisioning

  1. Sign in to Microsoft Entra admin center.
  2. Navigate to Entra ID > Enterprise apps > NordLayer.
  3. Select the Provisioning option.
  4. Choose Provision on demand.
  5. Enter the first name, last name, display name, email address, or user principal name (UPN) of the user you need to provision. Alternatively, you can search for a group (supporting up to five users at a time).
  6. Select Provision at the bottom of the page to immediately sync the user or group to NordLayer.

Some apps experience replication delays. If you encounter this, wait for a few minutes before retrying.
