This guide will walk you through the process of exporting bookmarks from your current browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) and importing them into the NordLayer Browser.
Exporting bookmarks from Google Chrome
To export your bookmarks from Google Chrome, follow these steps:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Hover over Bookmarks and lists and click Bookmark Manager.
- At the top, click the three-dot menu icon.
- Select Export bookmarks.
- A file explorer window will appear; choose where you'd like to save the bookmarks HTML file on your computer.
Exporting bookmarks from Mozilla Firefox
To export your bookmarks from Mozilla Firefox, follow these steps:
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.
- Select Bookmarks.
- Click Manage bookmarks to open the Library window.
- In the Library window, click the Import and Backup button located in the toolbar.
- From the dropdown menu, choose Export Bookmarks to HTML…
- Select a location on your computer to save the bookmarks file. By default, the file will be named bookmarks.html.
- Click Save.
Importing bookmarks into NordLayer Browser
Once you have your bookmarks file (HTML file) ready, here’s how to import it into the NordLayer Browser:
- Open the NordBrowser.
- Click the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Navigate to the Bookmarks and lists section and choose Import bookmarks and settings.
- Select Choose file.
- A file picker dialog will appear; locate and select the bookmarks HTML file you exported from your previous browser.
- Confirm the action, and your bookmarks will be successfully imported into the NordLayer Browser.
