Enhanced reporting for ConnectWise
We’ve introduced important updates to improve reporting and error handling for our ConnectWise (CW) integration:
- A new agreement addition will still be created on the 1st day of every month.
- The previous agreement addition will automatically be canceled, eliminating duplicates to simplify invoicing for partners.
Mapping logic overhaul
Data reporting will now continue seamlessly for all unaffected organizations, even if one organization encounters an error. Errors for specific organizations will now be documented in a separate error table in the Service Management Portal (SMP), providing improved visibility for our partners to address any issues.
The updated approach is our best alternative to ensure better partner experience.

New API for Organization Provisioning
Partners can now create organizations in the Service Management Portal using an API. The new API supports setting the organization title, payment plan, and email of a preferred Delegated Admin. An organization identifier is generated automatically.

Active Sessions Management
We’re introducing a new Active Sessions page in the Service Management Portal (SMP), empowering users to monitor and manage their account security more effectively:
- Session overview: See your active SMP sessions in a dedicated panel.
- Filtering & sorting: Easily find specific sessions using search (by platform, IP, and location) and a date picker to refine results. Sort sessions by newest, oldest, or alphabetically.
- Terminate sessions: A new Terminate all sessions button lets users log out of all active sessions except the current one in a single action. A confirmation modal ensures intentional use, with success and error messages providing clear feedback.
This enhancement puts security control in your hands, ensuring better visibility and protection for your account.

Service Management Portal redesign (phase 1)
We’re excited to roll out the first phase of our redesign initiative, bringing a fresh look and improved navigation to the Service Management Portal. This update enhances usability and accessibility:
- Revamped pages: Settings and Activity pages have been redesigned for a more intuitive experience.
- Enhanced user information: SMP now clearly displays the partner’s name and user roles, making it easier to identify key details at a glance.
- Profile management: Partners can now visit their Profile page to update their name, email, and password seamlessly.

ConnectWise PSA integration
We are thrilled to announce the new ConnectWise PSA integration feature, designed to simplify billing and invoicing for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). With this integration, MSPs can now synchronize their NordLayer subscriptions directly with ConnectWise PSA, creating a streamlined process for managing billing data and agreements. Here’s what you can do with this powerful feature:
- Company import and mapping: Import your ConnectWise PSA company data into the NordLayer MSP administrator panel, making it easy to track and sync information across both platforms.
- Automated usage updates: Monthly subscription usage data for each mapped company is automatically updated in ConnectWise PSA, reducing the need for manual entry.
- Product mapping for consistent billing: Map ConnectWise PSA products to NordLayer subscriptions, ensuring accurate data handling and synchronization of licenses and server plans.
- Flexible product management: Choose between mapping existing ConnectWise PSA products or creating new products in ConnectWise PSA directly from NordLayer.
- Customizable company and agreement syncing: Manage and sync organizations by manually mapping new companies or adjusting existing mappings through the NordLayer MSP administrator panel.
This integration saves time, minimizes errors, and enhances billing accuracy, giving MSPs more control and efficiency in managing subscription data across platforms.

Simplified login with single sign-on (SSO) integration
We're excited to introduce a simplified login process via SSO tailored specifically for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). This improvement allows MSPs with Owner or Admin roles to effortlessly access the Service Management Portal by integrating single sign-on (SSO) with leading identity providers like Google, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Okta.
SSO integration adds an extra layer of security, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access sensitive information from the MSP portal.

Delegated Administrator role
We’ve added the Delegated Administrator role to the Service Management Portal. Now Delegated Administrators can make network changes more effectively, leading to quicker and more flexible management. This new role enables them to easily add or remove users, invite new members, form teams, and set up gateways. They can also create firewall rules and adjust network features, customizing the network to suit their specific needs.

License usage report
A new Reports section showcases the highest number of member and server licenses an organization used in a month. This insight is crucial for understanding when license demand peaks. Additionally, users can now export the license usage report as a CSV file. This export includes daily data on license usage, providing a detailed look at their usage over time.
License usage data is available starting from July 2023, enabling you to conduct historical analyses and observe trends.
