Organization administrators can now manage which Chrome Web Store extensions are available directly within NordLayer Browser. This means your browser environment comes ready to go, with the right tools in place and unnecessary or risky extensions kept out.
When you open NordLayer Browser, the extensions your administrator has approved for your team are already available for you to use. This removes the friction of setting up your workspace, allowing you to focus on the tasks at hand.

NordBrowser now updates itself automatically in the background, so your organization always runs the latest version without requiring manual intervention. We're excited to introduce the early access program for NordBrowser (BETA) . This secure browser simplifies network access with integrated NordLayer connectivity, offering a seamless browsing experience . Administrators can now implement granular routing policies, allowing traffic to be routed through a VPN gateway, directly to the internet, or blocked entirely based on team-specific rules . NordBrowser also comes equipped with essential security features, including DNS filtering, an application blocker, Custom DNS support, and web protection .
Existing NordLayer customers can apply for early access via the banner in the NordLayer Control Panel.
