Security dashboard provides administrators with insights into their organization's security posture. These widgets ensure administrators can monitor security measures, detect potential vulnerabilities, and address risks.
Widgets and their functions
Here is a breakdown of the key widgets along with their purposes:
2FA adoption: This metric provides an overview of the organization's adoption rate of two-factor authentication (2FA), a critical security measure that adds an extra layer of protection to user accounts. The widget displays information from the past 24 hours.
Failed logins (New): Provides detailed information about failed login attempts in the Control Panel, NordLayer application, and Browser Extension. This data is critical for detecting unauthorized access attempts and enhancing network security. The widget shows data from the past 24 hours. However, the chart and log list can display data for the past 24 months.
Included information
- Widget: Displays the exact number of failed logins in the past 24 hours, updated periodically.
- Exception: If Browser Extension is not included in the organization’s plan or is disabled via settings, data will not be available. Additionally, if the Browser Extension platform is blocked by the Device Posture Security feature, related platform data will also not be displayed.
- Chart: A chart presents separate data series for Control Panel, NordLayer application, and Browser Extension failed logins. Data points can be filtered via a platform dropdown. Chart display is in UTC, and data is retained for two years.
