Windows installation guide

This guide will show you how to set up the NordBrowser application on Windows. All the packages can be found in the Downloads Page or Control Panel.

• Windows 10/11 x86 64 bit

Choosing your installer

NordBrowser is available for Windows as several distributables, so you can pick the one that best fits your situation:

• Online executable – a small initial installer that downloads the full application from the internet. This is the default option linked on the download page and is recommended for most users.
• Offline executable – a large executable containing the full package. Use this when you need a complete, self-contained installer (for example, on machines with limited or no internet access during setup).
• MSI package – a large, full package intended for managed deployments.

By default, the Windows download links point to the small online executable installer. If you need one of the other installers, you can request it from the full list of available downloads.

Downloading and installing

You can access the Windows download links via the Downloads page or Control Panel.

1. Once you have downloaded the NordBrowser application, go to your Downloads folder and double-click the NordBrowserSetup.exe file that you have downloaded.
2. An installation window will pop up (you will be guided through all the necessary steps to complete the NordBrowser installation).

Setting up the application

After installing and launching the application, you'll be prompted to log in before you can use the browser.

1. Enter your organization ID. You'll find the organization ID in the invitation email you received.
2. NordBrowser supports Single Sign-On (SSO), so you may be able to use your existing credentials from services like:
   • Entra ID
   • Google SSO
   • JumpCloud
   • Okta
   • OneLogin
3. Once you confirm your identity, NordBrowser will open, allowing you to browse safely and securely—no further setup required.
